The 400 sq ft House

Being a home for two required STaND to really expand their ingenuity to make smart use of the space that the home afforded. Adaptable and shared spaces became a conceptual solution. The removal of walls and the introduction of objects and functions proved to be an interesting tool. Continuous concrete flooring created the feeling of a seamless space and the furniture was designed to be minimal with slender legs and soft tones. Materials like marble, concrete and glass with wooden accents formed the palette of the space.
